Resident credits council with saving life

A VICTIM of domestic abuse has credited Copeland Borough Council for offering life-saving support.
Fifteen victims of domestic abuse have received specialist help and support from the Council’s Prevention and Crisis Support Officer, since the role was introduced in January 2018.
The service users were all homeless or at risk of homelessness.
One service user said: “In January 2018 I found myself in unfamiliar waters, with nowhere to turn.
