Covid info

Recycling and waste

This page has lots of information on recycling including our kerbside service, a list of recycling points, and lots of help with how to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Our recycling service is changing in October, instead of two boxes and a bag, residents will have two wheeled bins with different coloured lids. You can read more about these changes here, or view our information leaflet online.

See the recycling roadshow timetable here.

Household waste

We collect household waste from around 33,000 homes. View your collection calendar here and please put your waste out for collection before 7am. Click here to see if you qualify for a larger household waste bin.

Trade waste

We offer a competitive trade waste collection service for businesses.

Bulky collections

We operate a paid-for collection service for larger items.

Garden waste collections

We run a fortnightly garden waste collection service between March and November.

Assisted collections

If you are unable to put out your bin for collection, you could qualify for help.

Missed collections

If you think your collection has been missed, we offer further information on disruption to our services, and how to report a missed bin.

Community litter picks

Read our detailed guide to organising your own litter picking activity.
