Waste dumped near Household Waste Recycling Centre

WASTE has been dumped less than 2.5 miles away from a Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Items including household waste, wood and metal were fly-tipped at the entrance to Eskett Quarry, Frizington.
This dump site is near to Frizington Household Waste Recycling Centre, where the materials could have been disposed of correctly.
The items will be removed by Copeland Council at a cost to the taxpayer.
Mike Starkie, Mayor of Copeland, said: “It’s absolutely outrageous that individuals think this is acceptable.
