Antisocial behaviour is behaviour that has caused, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to someone. It can have a huge impact on its victims and, in some cases, on the wider community.

If you have reported three or more incidents of antisocial behaviour in six months to the council, police or housing provider, and the behaviour continues, you can ask for the case to be reviewed. The review will look at whether further action could be taken to resolve the issue.

We maintain the council’s tree stock including woodlands and specimen amenity trees on Council owned land. Our current work programme operates outside the bird nesting season (November to February) and is prioritised to ensure that our limited resource is focussed to where it is needed most.

We manage Sandholes Allotment Site in Egremont as well Brisco Mount allotment site at Egremont. All other allotment sites in Copeland are managed by town/parish councils or associations.

Brisco Mount is a gated, secure site with access to running water. It has panoramic views of Dent and alongside the allotment plots, has two pigeon lofts..

Allotments allow you to grow food while also gaining the benefits of being outdoors and working with nature.

Our lighting generally covers Copeland Borough Council-owned car parks, footpaths and smaller pockets of land formerly owned by the council.
