Published: 13/07/2020

THE borough’s best kept garden competition ends this Sunday (July 19).

Residents have just a few days left to enter the competition, with the chance of winning a £50 voucher for Whitehaven Garden Centre Ltd.

The competition was launched by Copeland Council on June 22, and has received entries from all corners of Copeland.

Mayor Mike Starkie said: “We’ve had some great gardening weather over the last few months - with sunny spells and showers to keep our horticultural havens hydrated.

“We’re certain there’ll be so many gardens in peak condition right now.
