Whitehaven to host youth market

Published: 09/08/2021

TWENTY TWO young entrepreneurs will be setting out their stall at Whitehaven’s youth market on Saturday.

Copeland Council’s third Young Entrepreneurs Market will be held on King Street.

The market – open between 10am and 3pm – has seen the number of young stallholders almost double from the first instalment, in June.

Local storyteller Debbie Haine and talented young singers will be entertaining the crowd.

At Copeland Borough Council we value what makes our patch different – that includes stunning landscapes, a vibrant history, the nuclear industry and our incredible communities.

Our ambitious plans for the borough and our council, coupled with a passionate, productive workforce, are driving change and achieving great outcomes for our residents.

We are looking for committed professionals to join a team that puts residents at the heart of all it does.
