Play area and street scene maintenance
We regularly inspect and maintain 14 playground facilities in open spaces, including skate parks and multi-use games areas within Copeland.
We also inspect and maintain other play areas for third parties.

Our team also maintains street scene assets, this is inclusive of bus shelters, street furniture, and street name plates owned by the council.
Our current street scene policy outlines that once street furniture comes to the end of its life it is removed and not replaced.
