Building Control fees

The schedules of charges and guidance notes are based on our Building Control Charges Scheme.

The charges scheme has been made under the Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010, which contains the full statement of law. A copy of the charges scheme is available for viewing at The Copeland Centre, Catherine Street, Whitehaven, on request.

Please contact mark.key@copeland.gov.uk or deborah.fletcher@copeland.gov.uk in writing to obtain fee estimates for projects with a value in excess of £250,000.
