Bank holiday arrangements

We have made the following arrangements for the Jubilee weekend.

All household waste, recycling and garden waste collections will continue as scheduled.

If a road closure has been issued due to a street party, residents should leave waste in a place that is visible and accessible to Waste Management crews.

Residents can find out when their next collection will be at: https://www.copeland.gov.uk/recycling-and-waste.

The Beacon Museum is open to visitors all week from 10am to 4.30pm.

The council’s out-of-hours emergency number for issues relating to homelessness and domestic abuse support is 01946 598300.

For dangerous structures, call 01946 598307 out of office hours.

For flooding, sandbags requests for residential properties and serious food safety incidents, call 01946 427171 out of office hours. Alternatively, to request sandbags for residential properties, email sandbags@copeland.gov.uk.
