Council sets out bank holiday arrangements

COPELAND Council has the made the following arrangements for the coming bank holiday (Monday, August 31).

All household waste, recycling and garden waste collections will be one day later next week.

Residents can find out when their next collection will be at www.copeland.gov.uk.   

The following out-of-hours emergency numbers are still available during the bank holiday:

Homelessness and domestic abuse support - 01946 598300

Dangerous structures - 01946 427121

Flooding - 01946 427171

All Copeland Council offices, Distington Hall Crematorium offices and the Chapel of Remembrance remain closed to the public due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Beacon Museum is open for the whole bank holiday weekend, including Monday, from 10am until 4pm (last entry at 3pm).
