Copeland Borough Council appointed Lichfields and Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) to prepare an Economic Development Needs Assessment (EDNA) to form part of the evidence base underpinning the Borough’s Local Plan. The study is intended to provide Copeland Borough Council with an understanding of:

  • The current performance and positioning of the Borough with respect to key economic and commercial market indicators; and
  • The anticipated future growth trajectory of Copeland’s economy and the implications of this with respect to demand for employment land over the period 2017 to 2035.
