Free Taster Walks in January
Tuesday
1pm-1.30pm Lunchtime Walk from The Copeland Centre, Catherine
Street, Whitehaven.
2.00pm-2.30pm Health Walk from Mirehouse Library (free
tea/coffee after)
5.15pm-5.45pm Slimmer's Walk from Cleator Moor Civic Hall
6.15pm-6.45pm Walk from Anna's Creperie, Whitehaven
Harbour
Thursday
10.15am-10.45am Walk from bus stop outside West Cumberland
Hospital (free tea/coffee after)
12-12.30pm Lunchtime Walk from Square Bites, Cleator Moor (free
soup and roll

after)
2pm-2.30pm Walk from Kells Library (free tea/coffee
after)
Weekend (provisional)
Saturday 16th January
11am-3.30pm Family Walk along the shores of Ennerdale Water.
Two miles along level ground, suitable for all terrain
buggies. Free minibus transport from South Whitehaven and
Cleator Moor. Booking essential.
Would you like to volunteer to help lead walks? No
experience needed and full training provided free.
More new walks to follow in February
All free of charge. Participants will be required to fill
in a health questionnaire for insurance and funding purposes.
All under 16s to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
