General information


Disabled students has a section on young disabled people that you may find useful, including information about financial help for disabled students.  UCAS also has information for disabled students, and the National Union of Students runs a disabled students' campaign.


GCSEs and A-levels

The S-cool website has lots of free online revision material for GCSEs and A-levels.  The BBC also has lots of online learning resources to help you get through your exams, including GCSE information from BBC GCSE Bitesize. has some AS and A level advice that might help.

If you would prefer face-to-face advice, you can use the free youth advice service at Inspira (formerly known as Connexions Cumbria).


GNVQs, NVQs, vocational A-levels and apprenticeships

The BBC Learning website has useful information on GNVQs and vocational A-levels.  Directgov also has lots of information about NVQs.  You may also find the Apply Cumbria search useful for finding work-related courses.
