In addition to our statutory Building Control function, we offer consultation services in the areas listed below.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, occupiers of all buildings, other than private dwelling houses and individual flats are required to have a fire risk assessment undertaken.

All CBC fire risk assessors are professionally qualified building control surveyors who have a thorough understanding of ‘fire strategy’ and building construction.

CBC fire risk assessors follow an accredited methodology specifically designed to suit the type of building and operational nature of the business involved. This ensures that the process is both practical and systematic; ultimately providing costs effective solutions to any risks that require reduction or elimination.

CBC offer both pre-assessment and full-assessment services for all new build construction. The knowledge of our BREEAM assessors can provide invaluable guidance during the pre-design stage resulting in a sustainable building that is constructed in the most cost-effective manner.

The expertise and support provided by our accredited assessors will ensure that your development achieves the BREEAM status required.

Our CDMC service advises and assists the client in undertaking the measures needed to comply with the CDM Regulations 2007.

CBC has the knowledge, experience and resources necessary to ensure successful service delivery regardless of the size or complexity of the project. We provide a bespoke service that takes into account the client’s business needs whilst ensuring that CDM regulations and best industry practice is adhered to.
