The ever-popular Whitehaven Festival is this weekend.

This year's Festival has a packed line-up of events and activities for all the family, ranging from sea and air displays to a celebrity chefs' theatre, local gifts and produce, fairground attractions, street theatre and much more - not forgetting gigs from acts as diverse as McFly and Sweet.

Events kick off in the town on Friday afternoon and run until Sunday afternoon, with a jam-packed programme filling the space in between.
